Historical Needlework of Pennsylvania by Margaret B. Schiffer.

This is a first edition published in 1968 by Bonanza Books, a division of Crown Publishers, Inc. It is a hardback book of 160 pages with a plastic covered dustcover. Chapters include: Samplers, Crewel Embroidery, Silk Embroidery, Moravian Needlework, Florentine Embroidery, Canvas Work, Berlin Work, Pennsylvania German Needlework and Stumpwork. There are 5 color and 97 black and white illustrations. The book is in very good condition with minor wear to the dustcover. US shipping - $5.50. SOLD

This is a first edition published in 1935 by Sir Isaac Pittman & Sons, LTD. London. It is a hardback book of 41 pages. Chapters include: Materials, Hems, Samplers, Double Running, Geometrical Satin Stitch Borders, Needleweaving, Pattern Darning, Edges, Cords, and Joins. There are 1 color and 23 black and white illustrations. The book is showing some noticible wear to the spine but is otherwise in good condition. US shipping - $3.50. SOLD
